Ranthambore National Park, is one of the largest national park located in Sawai Madhopur district Rajasthan. It is bound to north by Banas River and south by Chambal River. It was established in1955 by the Government of India and is declared as Project Tiger Reserve in 1973. The best time to visit the park is during the months of November and May. The park consists of plenty of natural scenic attractions, animals and birds. Tiger is one of the main attraction in this park. You can encounter the presence of tigers on the way to jungle. Vehicle service is available in this park for sightseeing through the forest. You can capture beautiful pictures of tigers, deers, birds, elephant, leopard, nilgai, wild boar, hyena and so on. Safari Rides can be carried out at 6:30 a.m and 14:30 p.m with a cost of about 700-800 / person. Two types of vehicles are available, one is 20 seater open canter or 6 seater open gypsy. You can visit Ranthambore Fort also. One of the largest lake known as Padam Talao is also one of the main attraction in this park. One of the India’s largest banyan tree can be found on the lake side. Ranthambore is a place for relief from summer hot as it has many waterbodies.
