Have you ever imagined about a floating experience in posting letters???what will be the feeling if you may get the letter posted by your Srinagar Girl friend is printed with the India’s most attractive sceneries of the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism??? We started our jouney from the great Delhi, as our team was in a great mood to long journey we have never felt the distance of about 876 kms. We were much excited in the journey to the place of lakes and tulips that enchants your soul with the freezy breeze and frangrances.
When we were moving through the Ambala to Ludhiyana, we were never imagined about the additional attraction in the daal lake, Srinagar. We have planned to visit some places in Srinagar, in those the Daal lake is unavoidable. As we know that we may get freeze at the destiny, we were aware of keeping a few blankets and cold resistant clothes with us. Moreover, we never feel losing a few bugs in buying a few sweating clothes from the coldy-boldy Kashmir.
Hunger started hunting us while we were moving from pathankot to Jammu, started enjoying the regional foodies – the mouth-watering Garlic naan and black daal with panneer tikka. Now it’s the time to take a short nap, all flattened to their coats. When wake up, we were more impatient to move from Udampur to Banihal and the information was dugged up from map and felt heartcease that we are nearer to one of the coldest places on this earth.
Finally we rushed out as stale breads and was wondering where to go and what to do. Then we moved to the first house boat travel, we saw the post office floating in the lake which makes us think that what is unusual in this. Merely it’ s post office, what’s there to wonder and we set our foots to the floating posty boat. What a surprise, it’s not only a simple post office but a small museum too where you can find a plenty of stamps and galleries of Kashmir’s most attractive spots. Come on Guys, let’s get back to the nostalgia of posting letters. How beautiful, the feeling was when we were going through the loved ones calligraphy. With the hand’s full of nostalgic feelings we moved to the other places in Srinagar in search of the other hunts that can be seen on the way as the mind blowing “Floating Post Office”.
